Can't send pictures in detail but can receive them. Nokia Lumia 925

I can receive pictures and they look fine and regular. But when I go to send them all I get is a very small picture when opened up is all pixelated. I have a nokia lumia 925. I was wondering if anyone has any details on how to fix it or what the problem may be. Its like it is sending a super small thumbnail when opened is very distorted. But when I get a picture from someone its all fine and dandy, any help would be nice

How are you sending the pictures? MMS? Facebook? OneDrive links? Email attachments? Some other app?
