Why does my HP 2000 notebook swap from screen 1 to 2 automatically?

Randomly, my laptop screen will go black. The sound that is made following the screen outage is the same as if I were removing a flashdrive. I have to use my Google Remote Desktop from my phone to go into settings. Once there, the display monitor indicator shows that it is outgoing to display/screen/monitor 2, but I have no other monitors selected. I can change it back to monitor one, select "make this my main display" and close it. It stays for a while, but at least two or three times a week this happens. How can I fix it?
