Miracast options seemingly not available

Windows 10 x64, desktop connected via network cable to my wireless access point. Trying to use miracast, the connect to a wireless display option isn't there and I can't see my adapter under connect. Any ideas?

your device might not be supporting miracast - check online for whether it can support
