Why Microsoft neglected the windows phone users used a model with 512 mb ram for the updates.

The updates are mostly provided only those phone with spec 1gb of ram. And how about those below 1gb, are they ignored? Come-on, that is one of the reasons why you have not a customer as much as uv expected. Thank You.

Not mostly, but ONLY for devices with 1 GB of RAM. Those are probably ignored because probably MS made some research and found out that the performance of Windows 10 Mobile on devices with 512 MB RAM would not be as smooth as they would want it to be.

well they ignored a lot of 1 GB RAM phones too. Likely happened that both the 512 phones were a bit constrained and they didn't want to spend more resources on efficiency and the likely older phone.
