My headphones with microphone does not work on new Lumia 550. Why?

I had a post where Coloud Boom headphones didnt work on Lumia 630, but they are fine and working on laptop, etc. Now I got a new Lumia 550 and still they dont work on Lumia. Coloud sent me headphone adapter but still nothing. Now I cant blame my phone, cant blame headphones because they work, but together, nothing. Doesnt even recognize them on my phone.

Headphones are headphones, nopt usb devices, plug them and sounds. At limit, buttons or microphone might not work but not all heads. Plug is the same for all (4 pin jack), on old earphones there were a button system not used anymore now since years (it uses mic sending coded sounds).

Does you cell works with anything else?

As Maurizio suggested, can you try a different pair of headphones?
