why is my web browser no got a colored tint since I did the recent update?

[Windows Central Question]

I recently did the most recent update and all was fine till I tried going online. Starts up ok but when I try to search or even just move my mouse all my tabs get a purplish tint.
I never had it before the update and now it is there and only seems to disappear for a few seconds when my mouse is on random parts of the screen. The tint is not just turn the color of the screen it is also affecting media such as video and pictures making them harder to see. Any advice?

this happens in different programs? I'm suspecting the screen might be failing?
