I use Google 2 step authentication and get a txt sent to my WP phone. I am traveling abroad and will not longer have my phone plan, only WiFi.

Since Google Authenticator does not have an app for WP...do I have any alternative or just disable two step?

I really want two step - especially when I travel.

Google Auth uses an industry standard also used by many other apps, MS authenticator included.

You may need to turn off and re-enable two step authentication to get it setup again though.

    I have the MS authenticator.
But there is no option beside Android and Iphone.
I used the barcode option on the MS authenticator - and it took it.
I guess I got hung up on the Iphone/Android options

If Yahoo is compatible with Google Auth then it will work with MS Auth as well as most any other authenticator app. Also, just say Android because as long as you get a QR code you're good.

Thanks, I could not find an option for a QR code in the Security/Privacy setting in my Yahoo account...
