Microsoft seems to have been instrumental into making DEX on the S8 a reality. Do you think Microsoft made it so that Xamarin would be the preferred or best toolkit to make DEX compliant apps?
I ask this because I'm just curious about what Microsoft's play with DEX is. Currently, there is no standard way to make Android apps behave this way, Remix, ChromeOS and Dex are basically hacks. By making Xamarin the best optimized toolkit to make DEX apps work, this would, in a way, benefit the entire Universal Windows Platform because apps built using Xamarin can be very easily ported to Windows.
