    Hey Guys,

I am very confused about mobile plans in the Australia. I want to buy a SIMcard with internet facility for two or three weeks, but I don't have that much knowledge about Australian SIMcard. Can anyone suggest me how to buy and how much it cost for?

How long are you staying? For ever or as a visitor? If longer than a month then I’d suggest that you get a prepaid plan. You just need some ID (your passport will be fine) if less than a month, Optus has a plan which is $2 a day and that will probably work out cheapest plus Optus now has coverage which is as good as Telstra’s. Avoid Vodafone – they are famous for having a bad network in Australia.
