Oh, I meant it was only til recently that I noticed that I wasn't able to send or receive picture texts. My stuff has been working for all of last year, but I don't send/receive picture texts very often. It did used to work though. Hence, I was wondering if it was b/c of the windows 8.1 update...

Anybody else out there with a Lumia 520, Windows 8.1, and Consumer Cellular? Can you send/receive picture texts? Thanks

I got 8.1 the other day, and since then when i shuffle music in the built-in music player, there's a little 'tick' noise after each song. Very annoying! Anybody else get this?

Hmm, pressing the back button just takes me to the previous web page. I guess I'll have to do David's suggestion. Too bad there isn't a simpler way.

Anyone know of a way to set a default start page in IE? Or to always start it without the previous webpage? I've got the 8.1 update, if it matters. I don't want to pin a webpage to my home screen, cuz it's not see-through. I hate opening up IE and then it loads up the previous webpage...

Okay, mystery solved. So I go to the built-in music player to delete the song, and discover that there's over a hundred entries for it in the songs list. WTF???? I put the mp3 myself into the phone, so I know I didn't copy it in there a hundred times. I wonder if 8.1 will fix this duplicate...

*Sigh* so I'll have to delete it until ms fixes the music player. I really loved that song, too, until I heard it every frikkin day.

okay, i tried that yesterday and today. both times, that song still managed to get played.

I hit the gym everyday for a little over an hour. When I get there, I open the built-in music app and press 'play', and it shuffles through my entire library. I've got about two thousands songs, and yet, almost always, there's this one particular song that manages to get played. No other song...

i've got black on there. maybe it is the service provider, since this delay doesn't occur every single time.

short story: sometimes when i turn data on and then try to surf immediately, it doesn't work. long story: i've had my 520 for about 6 months now, and when i first got it, i could turn data on, go to ie, and surf right away. lately, for the last few weeks, sometimes i get 403 forbidden errors...

I search windowsphone.com for apps, and when i find one i like, I download it via the store app on my nokia lumia 520. Sometimes the app requirements as listed on the website are different than when they're listed through the store app. So which is the correct set of requirements? Which takes...
