Why do I get the Error (8007000d) on updating my Lumia 530?

Error (8007000d) on updating Lumia 530

The update was downloaded but couldn't be opend (8007000d)The update seemed to have downloaded and the update was started but the above error was shown

is the memory on the sd card less than 1 gb.Because in the 530,the updates are installed in the sd card

There is 29gb free on the SD card

Welcome to Windows Central.

Were you referring to an app update, or an OS/Firmware update?

If you're referring to an OS/Firmware update, you may have to simply wait for a few hours before trying again. This happened (a few hours ago) with my L535. I just tried again after a few hours and the update process went on smoothly.

Or, you can try using the Lumia Software Recovery Tool as suggested by jontyfernz, but this will erase everything from your phone, so make sure to back up everything first.
