Did I mess with a setting or something? When I press the volume buttons nothing happens. When I use them during a call I can raise voice volume but I cant raise any volume atbany other time? Anyone know what is going on?

Have you tried Soft Reset? Hold the Power button until the phone vibrates, about 10 seconds. Solves all kinds of glitch.
