Can anyone tell how good the raw photos are. Can i get dslr like quality after post-processing? Thank you.
@kwartey It's a shame no one answered you back when. I just ducked in here.

I don't have a 950, but I've used the Lumia DNG files from a couple of other phones. It is very equivalent to what you would get from a DSLR shooting RAW, DNG is the open license version of RAW from Adobe and does the same as proprietary RAW from the camera makers. You can post process it in every way in PhotoShop, Gimp, etc...

The difference being that unlike a DSLR your "lens" has a fixed f/ stop and is not swappable.

Went on my first real shoot with Lumia 950.

Right off the bat I really like this shot via Camera App, Rich Capture (I kept the default "best lighting"):

Then I ran it through Camera360 Sight and went all in with the Supercell filter:

And again through Sight, but all in with Firestorm:

Really like that last version.

A couple of takes on a rock. First it was done on desktop using the UWP Old Look app, then again in Fotor with a tweak in tilt/shift.

I like this one using Rich Capture. For me HDR is often about a feeling of texture in the pic.

This little guy was cropped out of the DNG copy using Fotor.

One more from yesterday's shoot. Worked this one starting with the DNG file which I reframed in Fotor and saved as JPG. Then the result went through Polarr and was tweaked in color and saved. Old Look didn't have what I wanted so back to Polarr where I tweaked it again after stripping out the saturation (so custom Black & White filter). I like the interposition of geometric regularity over top of organic form. Color was simply getting in the way of expressing that.

A couple of quick shots from Lisbon this fine evening...

For the most part, these are the sidewalks.

I'm not even sure what this building is, LOL. Rich Capture.

The (mandatory) Triumphal Arch seen from the Praca do Comercio. Reworked this one from the DNG file.

It's the number of pictures. Happens to everyone, there is an auto filter now on the site.
Great pics RumoredNow!

Yeah. I always said that the filters are wound too tight. Thank You, My Friend. I'm sure you've been through here as well traveled as you are.

I am so late to you posting so many great pictures here. Wow! Please keep sharing.

Thank you. That was day 3. Plenty more ahead.

These are intriguing...
Nice picts

... !

Thank you. I went crazy yesterday with Rich Capture and Panorama (who knew you could pan in portrait [pic 1]and landscape [pic 3]?). I ended up with 1,051 files on my 950 in the Camera Roll folder what with all the .nar and ev0/ev+/ev- copies.

It's easy to get great pics with great subject matter. If you ever visit Lisbon definitely take a trip to Sintra. My wife and I said if we only had known we would have stayed there and day-tripped into Lisboa. Too many castles. The shots you marked are at the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinta_da_Regaleira

Vertical panorama is the only way to go under difficult circumstances... Ya I managed to shoot a 90m tall tree deep in the jungle.. quite a leviathan.

I don't care who you are, what your life experiences have been, where you've lived or traveled, socio-economic status or anything else. Absolutely nobody wants this to happen to them. Nobody.

Kinda hard to get good shots through thick aquarium glass. The circular polarizing filter helped out.

Looks fast in Rich Capture, doesn't it?

WP_20171027_17_33_46_Rich.jpg

OK, this one was edited on the phone. First I shot it in Rich Capture and tweaked it in Choose Best Lighting about 2/3 along on the slider. Then it went through Camera360 Sight where I went about 7/8 in on the Alley filter from the Magic Sky filter pack.
