Lazy day yesterday around home base. My wife was nursing a sore back. Went out in the evening and snapped a couple of pics or I would have felt weird going a whole day in a foreign city and no pictures to show for it.

Off on a dolphin watching tour today. Plan to feast on Giant Tiger Prawns for dinner!!!

OK... Dolphins breaching are A) hard to shoot from the wrong side of the boat and B) not that interesting photographically even when you do get a clear shot. Mostly we saw their backs as they barely breached. Still a cool sight in person if not on "film." Had a lovely time in Setubal nonetheless. Beautiful weather to take a catamaran trip. Our guide kindly showed us the Forte de São Filipe as a side trip.












Back in Lisbon we wandered a bit through a high end neighborhood looking at shops.




I'm sorry to say that I didn't even think to take a picture of dinner until it was demolished. Suffice to say Ramiro is well worth the wait to get in.

I was in bed early last night. Gotta catch a train this AM to a beach town named Lagos.

Evora today. They've preserved a lot of history there. Really cool to wander the old city.

Special shout out: if you go through there and want a FANTASTIC meal visit Guiao. Some of the best we've ever had. "The cod that is never enough" lives up to its name and the roast lamb was outstanding. Huge meal for 2 and a generous tip was only 50€. Excellent, friendly service as well as good value.

Just playing around with this shot from today. Rich Capture image that I opened in Polarr and stripped out all the saturation. Then I added a tiny touch of red to the highlights and shadows. (Custom sepia tone.)
