I'm looking to replace my Core 2 Duo laptop and Nook HD+ with the Surface 3. I'm confident that it can handle everything my laptop currently can, but I am worried I won't be able to replicate the usefulness of the Nook. I've got a very large library of comics and ebooks and wanted to know if others have found decent apps for consuming this kind of media on the Surface 3?

I never eat anything over my tablet as crumbs can make a mess.

There's an app(lication) for pretty much anything under Windows. You'll probably have to search for NOOK HD+ type apps for windows.

I use an app called Cover (available in the Windows store) for reading comics. It has handled every single .cbr and .cbz file I've thrown at it. I don't read any eBooks, so I can't help you there.
