Windows 10 build 15063 fails to install on Surface 3

My Surface 3 is running Windows 10 Pro, build 14393.969. It was in the Release Preview Ring, and so received the update to build 15063. Two attempts to install the update failed with error 0x8024200D.

Has anyone successfully updated a Surface 3 to build 15063?

I'm not able to install the creators update... Though i've never been on any insider ring with my Surface. I will be trying again later on but it didn't install on the latest attempts. I don't know why.

Installed mine about an hour ago on my Surface 3, working great so far.

I managed to get my Surface 3 to update to build 15063.

First I followed these instructions to clear the Windows Update cache.

Then I downloaded the ISO, copied it to a USB flash drive, mounted the ISO and installed from it. During the install I chose to download updates.

It all seems to have gone well. After installing the only update was a System Hardware Update from 2016-08-08. I wonder what that was?!?
