Stylus Use On Surface RT

I know the RT doesn't have the "pen" capabilities as the PRO but how has stylus writing on the Surface RT been, generally? I know OneNote (Modern) does a good job. How's FreshPaint? Using Excel/Word in "pen mode"?

Does it have (palm detection)?

No Palm detection, and If I were honest I've not been impressed at all with the pen/inking capabilities on the RT - its designed for 'Touch' and not 'Ink' there is a subtle difference.

My Gen 1 iPad does a lot better with capacitive pens than the RT - The digitizer they used on the surface is not as high a resolution as the one on the iPad.

I basically gave up trying to take handwritten notes on it a while back - I had a thread running on here about it.

It's not designed for inking, so it does an average to poor job of it.
