Delay connecting to network

Hi, all. I frequently have an odd wi-fi problem with my SP3. I'll wake it up from sleep and it won't connect to my wi-fi network. I can leave it sitting there for several minutes and it will not connect. But as soon as I click the wi-fi icon on the taskbar to show available networks it connects. I never have to click "Connect" or choose a network, it just connects to the right one and works fine from then on.

Anyone else experience anything similar?
