Skype killing my CPU (SP4 i7)

Just got a brand new SP4 i7, and have been having heating and fan problems, even after the updates.

Skype (32-bit) was constantly #1 in CPU usage on my Task manager, even using >50% a lot of times. Now why would skype be using >50% of my CPU?? was that a bug?

Finally did uninstall the builtin skype apps video and messaging and installed the desktop skype app. Now my surface has been running quiet and cool.

ANyone else with this issue?

Do you mean the latest version of the "desktop client" Skype? How does Skype Preview perform, if you do have Anniversary Update?

I installed the desktop client. I uninstalled the skype video and messaging apps.
