SMS not appearing in its thread?

Hi, I dont know if I should put this thread in this forum or the WP 8.1 one but anyway.

This issue happens very occasionally. When someone texts me, there is notification, and the message tile does show the content of the message. But when I go into its thread, the new sms isnt there. After a while it gets back to normal and then it happens. Does anyone have the same issue or the solution for this? Thank you

Make sure the date and time is properly set. This happened to me when I drained my battery (I blame WP8.1 when it first came out on DP with the draining issues). I opened the phone and I receive text messages but I can't find them on the thread. The phone's date was set way behind the date of my previous texts so they show up at the beginning of the thread.

same problem, even i have the dates correct.
