    I just think this is so neat and have to share...

    Running Win 8 at home, tried to copy and paste a movie to my 920 with Windows Explorer. A message pops up "This video may not be compatible with your device, would you like to convert it?"

    Clicked yes, took a while longer than normal to transfer and a video that was a pain to get to play on my android works perfectly on my Win 8 phone.

    Call me weird, but having Windows convert my video with nothing but a copy paste is freaking cool...

    Use HandBrake with the generic settings. Does the trick. Worked for all my X264 videos

    WP8 has much better codecs support than WP7. Most of my videos stream straight from PC to the phone without conversion.
