Does L930 support double tap to wake?

OK, so the Lumia 930 does not support Glance and it's not likely that this will be enabled as a future update since it's a hardware issue.
How about double tap to wake though? I like Glance but if double tap isn't supported it's a deal breaker for me.

Yes. Double tap is supported.

Agreed, double tap to wake is one of my favourite features in WP, and is probably a deal breaker for me as well.
Hopefully now the phone is out users will be able to confirm this.

Something I noted in cyan. Previously it used to say that using double tap to wake consumed more battery. Now this text is removed. I wonder what changed? I am aware of the fact that different screen technologies are used in the 1520 and 930, is this the cause?
