my lumia 930 just got an update

Evening all,

I just checked on my 930 for updates and lo and behold, one appeared. I downloaded it right away and it went through the usual worth the wait etc. I thought it might be GDR 2 but after a (very) quick glance through, I don't see any immediate changes.

Anyone else had this update or noticed anything new?

My UK cv got its update tonight without any prompting. It must be update 2 as it has the fixed settings menu (hallelujah).

This was part of the insider preview if I'm not mistaken, so cool that it's going out properly.

mines a uk one too, but my update is not gdr2, there is no fixed menu settings etc etc.

When I downloaded the update it said it fixes an issue that randomly causes your phone to reboot. That's all unfortunately

I got this earlier too. It said it fixed a problem where the phone spontaneously reboots. I've had that issue recently, but it's always when taking or looking through pics, so assumed it was camera beta causing the issue... Here's my new about screen if you want to compare with a non-updated one.

Hmm. That is the same as mine. I am stupid. I actually didn't know what the real update 2 settings menu looked like. So where is our update 2.

i wonder when they'll fix this purple tint issue on low brightness and the random screen flickering... it's probably a software issue but i can't help but feel that i have a cheap screen in my hands :straight:

I just got my lumia 930 about 2 weeks ago, never seen a single unexpected reboot (i use the lumia camera beta every day) in the other hand i also have the brightness and screen flickering issues
I don't see any updates, my os version is: 8.10.14234.375 /// firmware version: 02540.00019.15053.26003.
