Icon vs my old 928

I just picked up a Lumia Icon and I just noticed that my low light shots are not as good as my 928. I was wondering if it's defective or if my 928's lower aperture was just that much better in low light. Here is a sample of the same shot of a dark dark room with just light bleeding in from the doorway I'm taking the picture from. I set both on auto & no flash and held the camera against the door way to minimized the shakeyness of the shot. Using Manual settings with the shutter speed at 4 seconds makes the Icon photo look like the milkyway (completely grainy) while the 928's was a lighter version of the one posted below.

You stated that you just picked up the Icon.. Is it running Denim? check under settings > extras &info

Yeah, its fully updated

I have a 928 and 3 Icons. The Icons take a much better picture than the 928 does.

Have you tried a different camera app?

The aperture on the 928 does make a difference for low light\no flash. Everything else, the Icon wins hands down.

I know daylight photos are spectacular on the ICON but are also referring to really low light long shutter time shots? Maybe I just have a defective Icon. It is a refurbished model...

I have never been impressed with the Icon's low light photos.

Yes, I am also referring to low light. I've had very good results with both cameras. The margin between two narrows a lot in low light, but my Icon still takes better low light photos than the 928. Though it would appear my phones are different from what everyone else is having for experiences. Maybe your findings are more accurate and its MY 928 that is defective? It just really seems like a lot of grain in your picture, and I have yet to see that.
