I dislike Google more because of what seems to be a hatred for Windows Phone. Like not letting Microsoft make a proper YouTube app, the EAS thing, the Google Maps thing, no Google Plus app. And they sell your data.

I don't really like like how Apple seems kind of arrogant, and has that kind of attitude as if they invented everything and everything they do is revolutionary, but at least they seem to leave Microsoft alone, unlike Google.

iOS vs Android, if I had to choose between the two though, Android. iOS is too plain and boring. Android has improved a lot since its early days.

Fanboys, I think Android fanboys are more annoying.

I don't really hate either. The company I don't really like is Facebook, mainly because I hate the trend of having to use Facebook to access other services, such as Spotify.

That's very 2011. You can sign in with/create a user name, of your own choice, not connected to any social services.

I feel like I dislike google more. I share the reasons as some here, but what really annoys me is what youtube has become and how it affects usage on my phone sometimes. Before youtube just worked as it was meant to. Now, they mess around with layouts, sub boxes and recommendations are broken beyond belief, ads (to a lesser extent). ugh, it's infuriating sometimes.

I dislike google more, I like to have some privacy. I also dont like to ads in the email account. Um I don't think I have ever come a cross android fan boys. Must be a stroke of luck. Also when I mark email from google as spam, it sometimes passes the filters and comes through anyway, annoying. I wish the email app on my phone had a button to automatically throw google mail into the spam folder.

I like Apple and hate Google. Say what you want about Apple, but as a user and customer you feel safe and sound using their products.

I like to use Google's search engine, and still use the email service (so many still email my gmail account), I hate their privacy practice. I don't like Apple because they not only escort you into their walled garden, they bolt the door rendering it useless for anything except looking pretty. Hard to escape. With that being said, I liked my Android for the features. I liked my iPhone because it ran so smoothly. If I was stuck to choose between Android and the iPhone, I'm not sure which I would choose: Android can be superb in apps, fun, showing off, everything but in communications. Yet, I'm not wanting a commitment with Apple.Between Google and Apple: I dislike Google more because of the shady practices. One if these days I'm going to have to dump their search engine.

Oh and I come across fanboys of them all. My brother calls everything crap that's not an android, and so do a lot of others. They're not as snotty as some of the Apple lovers I've run into, but they hold an inner smugness, waving everything off that doesn't support the green robot. IPhone users: need I say more? And you will quite possibly get cussed out at Crackberry.com for choosing something over a Blackberry...

Because the last few weeks I've seen nothing but self portraits on Fhotoroom, I can see where that app is going while EyeEm is full of serious photographers.

Almost all gadgets in my house (desktop, laptop, phones, tablets) are Windows based with the exceptions of an old Macbook (for testing purposes), a Nexus 7, a few Logitech Revue devices. Having said that, I'd take Google any day over the evil Apple! The Nexus 7 was $199 when I bought; compare that with Apple's non-pocketable iPad mini for $329.
Apple is a rip-off, leech. I despise them. If Google or Microsoft ever manage to crush that snooty company then I'd be happy.

Apple's prices may be high, but at least Apple is upfront and transparent about their business. It involves you, Apple and your cash. It doesn't involve backroom deals with 3rd parties that subsidize the cost of your purchase, in exchange for the right to track everything you do online, which most people don't even realize is part of the deal.

I used Android since 2010 before getting my 8x last month and I still use a lot of Google services like gmail, Google + and others. I have never used anything that was made by Apple. I have never had an ipod. Back in high school and my early college days I would just use my PSP as an mp3 player before I stumbled upon a 30 gb Zune someone sold me for $30. I can't really say I hate Apple because I have never used any of their products besides the couple of times I used them in stores or from a friend. But if I had to choose between one of them, I would say Google.

I dislike Google because of their privacy policy and intentionally blocking services like maps, youtube etc to windows phone by not giving an official app and neither willing to let Microsoft developers write an app.
