Email setup

On my new Lumia 900 when setting up the phone I signed in with my Windows Live ID. Now, on the start screen I have the 'email setup' option which asks me to add an account. When I put in my Live ID credentials it says that this account is already set up and I cannot send and receive email!

I dont really want to remove the account as its showing my contacts, calendar etc.
Anything I can do to resolve this?

Did you go to email accounts in Settings and look at your Live account and see if there is a box to check to receive email on that account?
