Twitter contacts not syncing?

Hi guys, just joined this forum after reading it for a long time.
I recently have a problem with my twitter contacts. I found out that my contacts weren't syncing, even if I followed them after a while. I attempted to fix it by manually syncing my twitter account on my phone. However this didn't work.
I then deleted my twitter account off my phone from the email+accounts in my settings. Re-added it, and still didn't work. Contacted winphonesupport over twitter, and they asked me to remove the account, clear IE history, reboot phone, Revoke App access from twitter and re-added. Tried this multiple times but still doesn't work. Now they are asking me to restore my phone (which I am not too happy doing it, but still did), and try to re-set up and see if it is working. Tried restoring but it's giving me the error code 801812E0 while restoring. My phone is a Lumia 800, forced updated (switching off wifi while checking for updates on Zune) to 8773.12220
Anyone have this problem and know how to solve it?

edit : I am able to read twitter feeds from my Whats New page in the People hub.

Hi,

I've only had my lumia 800 for a few days (switched from iOS) so it's possible that I'm missing something obvious, but I'm having the same problem described above.

Twitter feeds show up in my main People "what's new" feed, but not in groups or individual contacts. I also can't see my twitter contacts in my people list, and can't find a way to link twitter IDs to my existing contacts....

Help greatly appreciated!
