Speech: Turn off "help" when phone doesn't understand??

Is there anyway to turn off the little help info that comes up when the phone doesn't understand my commands? When I use it on the car it doesn't always catch what I'm saying, then I have to sit through the irritating help section and wait for that to time out before I can try again.

I get it, you didn't understand me, just make the little beep and I'll try it again.

What I do is just tap VC button once to cancel then once again to start over. As far as I know there is no way to turn this off.

I hadn't tried just pressing the voice button again, I didn't think it would work while the phone was gabbing at me. That is at least better than listening to the help section repeatedly.
