I just read the AlphaJax article that was just posted and it got me a little curious., what apps and games are there in the WP8 store that sync with the Windows 8 version? I think Sonic CD did something similar to with XBLA but im not exactly sure about it. And for apps that do have syncing between WP8 and W8, do you have to essentially buy them twice if they came with a price? I am kinda bummed out that there arent really any apps, apart from the calendar that uses outlook, sky drive, and xbox music, because this was one of the more major appeals to me since i mainly use Windows based PC and laptops. Not saying that Linux and Apple sucks but that Linux is a little too "inconvenient" for me to use daily and even though Apple does make pretty solid laptops, construction wise, they were never really priced well except for the MacBook Airs which are priced relatively well compared to their competition except for that screen resolution. It would be nice to use an app on my phone then when i switch to my desktop or laptop i can resume relatively instant from where i left off.

Yes,you will have to buy them twice since the marketplaces are different.
You have notes taking apps like Evernote, onenote which sync well .. I know very few games sync between pc and phone right now.

Damn. That kinda sucks. It would be nice if the app allows synchronization the market place would check if that app exists on the other platform and "clears" it so you can get it for free.

Are the games that have synchronization basically the ones listed on the article.

Yes, I guess so.

We have heard rumors that Microsoft is re-working the entire structure for Windows Phone 9 which will have a common marketplace with big windows 8 or above. This raised a suspicion whether WP8 was going to be ditched like WP7.5 . We will have to wait and see.

I think it is safe to say that WP8 has a bigger presence than WP7.X does, so it will probably not be ditched any time soon. If it does, they probably aren't going to ditch the current line up of phones and have the phone be upgraded to WP9.
