ATIV S's bluetooth not connecting

Hi.

I can successfully transfer a file from my ATIV S to another phone using Bluetooth so my Bluetooth should be working.

But I can't transfer same file to my desktop (Window 7) by Bluetooth.
Both ATIV S and Desktop shows these 2 are connected.
Opening the Bluetooth folder on Desktop shows the icon of my ATIV has the faded look.

Can someone help? Thanks

Hmm. Can you see if your desktop has the drivers for the Ativ installed?

Also, it might be that Windows Phone only supports file transfers from other mobile devices.

I looked at my Device Manager on desktop but there are no yellow flag. So how to check whether I have this ATIV driver on desktop?

To check if you have the drivers installed, connect via USB. They should install automatically if it hasn't already.

Then I have done that couple of times. My Explorer can view, copy & paste files into phone with no problem and this is the way I presently transfer large files between the 2.

But for a couple of tiny files, I prefer to use Bluetooth for the convienences.
