Question, since yesterday, I got the Windows 8.1 update 1. It messed up my language settings. It has reverted me back to the stock UK English display language.

Since 8.0 and 8.1 I had the US display language, and I'd like to get that back. However, the advanced options under "language options" says that US English is not available and the system does not prompt me or give me a possibility to download it. Does anyone have suggestions?

EDIT: Already solved. By changing the display language settings to UK English it suddenly prompted me to download the US language pack. Pretty weird, and I'd say it's bad interfacing. At least it works.

Thanks! I had to click around a little bit more :-) So glad that since W8, we can change our display language. Don't remember it was possible for 7, and definitely not for Vista.
