Track WP8.1 + Lumia Cyan Rollout!

Never before i cant await an update so much like this! And i think it is because of the News: "Cyan is rolling out" I thought it is about hours and not weeks!

I dont Flash to dp because i can wait but now i cant and i have to check dozens of times a day if its out for my phone.

I know that MS is very slow but a rollout that takes months is unacceptable it would be better to wait with the release till every device can get it on the same day. But no they release it on 2 device week per week and one week Pilot rollout so we get every 3rd week 2 new devices with Cyan.

Thats so boring... In the construction industry the first Thing that is clear is the date of completion but in the Software industry there are no Dates...
Ah maybe this Month or maybe another year, who knows what happen... its done when its done... i cant hear that anymore.

I'd suggest you to take a look sometimes at your avatar picture.

What kind of apps are you talking about, sir..?

first would be att messaging, outlook ( you'd think that would be offered for a Microsoft phone ) flipboard, vudu, dish, to name a few.. as well as apps acting the same as they do on android.

If I was to ever go Android, I would go with LG or HTC, definitely not Samsung.

I want your guys' opinions on this...I just bought myself a new Lumia 920 (coming tomorrow) and my wife a new Lumia 1020 (coming monday)...they will come with WP8 on them, of course, we have 8.1 DP on our 520s, should I wait for the 8.1 at this point or do the DP upgrade?

If you put the preview on, you'll be a bit stuck until MS release a fix for an issue that affects certain phones running the preview. Some sort of conflict between Bitlocker (encryption) and the Cyan firmware I think. Until they fix that issue, all devices running preview won't be able to upgrade.

If its going to be annoying to have to downgrade back to 8.0 to have to get Cyan (if it comes), id wait, at least until we get some word from Microsoft about a solution.

520 - available in France (Orange)
1320, 820, 720 - testing completed (Vodafone Australia)

Based on this, I think Lumia 1020 and 620 users might have to wait longer.

So long as us 620 users aren't last like we were with Black. We didn't get it until mid March.
