Enabling internet sharing never completes on Lumia 920

I have a Nokia Lumia 920 with the WP 8.1 dev preview.

I've been using the internet sharing feature for a long time, but recently I started having problems with it : very often, when I enable it from the Action Center, it says "Connecting..." and remains in this state forever. I can't stop it ; in the settings, the switch is disabled. If I try to switch Airplane Mode on to kill all wireless features, it never completes either because it's still trying to enable Internet Sharing. All I can do is restart my phone.

It happens about 50% of the time, which means I can't reliably use this feature any more.

I think it started to happen when I upgraded my mobile contract to a 4G offer (French operator SFR); I don't know if it's related.

Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix or workaround ? This is becoming a major pain for me...

Well, all I can say is that on my 920 with WP8.1 dev preview, it's always worked fine, where I am, service is mostly 4G, and I have also used this since the beginning. So I suppose it's something with SFR...

Cellular data must be on for internet sharing to work.

Cellular data is always on, I never switch it off...
