Unable to return to WP8.0 L520!

Hello everyone
After using the preview 8.1 for a while I decided to hard reset my Lumia 520, in the goal to get back the original sweet wp 8.0 (essentially for the battery life) but in my big surprise I still have the WP 8.1 after the hard reset this morning (August 7th) , for the record i did not launch the automatic updates, so please anyone have any suggestions to go back to WP 8.0 ?? Because seriously no new feature deserves i sacrifice my battery life for it :/

You need to use the recovery tool - hard reset just restores whatever the image currently in the phone is - which at present in your case is 8.1 Preview.

A hard reset isn't enough, you have to use the Nokia Software Recovery Tool to reflash the phone OS to an earlier state.
