Can't log into MS account on wp7 anymore! Please help!

Okay so my mom has been using my old Lumia 800, but she ran into some trouble all of a sudden. The phone asked her to fill in her account details for some reason but it wasn't working. She got desperate so she did a hard reset. Now she can't log into her MS account because after entering the password the phone asks to type the characters from the picture but the picture isn't getting downloaded... And yes, the phone is connected to the internet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Have you checked if she can login online on a PC / Laptop to the same account?

Also are you using Wi Fi or mobile internet?

A little more information would be helpful .

Good to hear, some times MS makes you re-authenticate your account to verify your not using the account for spam. Not sure if that was true in your case however .

I have had this a few times where email wouldn't sync until I logged into the account via a desktop machine.
