With the emerging popularity of Web Tiles for the Microsoft Band, I was wondering if it is possible to post a link starting with 'mshealth-webtile:///'

mshealth-webtile:///?action=download-manifest&url=http://www.windowscentral.com/windowscentral.webtile

I've tried each of the protocol's, including <other> but none of them seem to work.

Unfortunately, linking directly to the file (http://www.windowscentral.com/windowscentral.webtile) doesn't work either as WP8.1 opens the file as a zip.

Is it possible to update the forums url protocol's to include 'mshealth-webtile://' ?

Any help would be great. Thanks.

At this time that is not possible, however I'll check with our tech team to see if that's something we can include in the future!

How does this open the webtile in Microsoft Health so that it can be install on the Band?

Ive been a bit successful,

you have my attention, and i will get it sorted and post the procedure.

atm, i had to open the .webtile using onedrive, which opened ms health app and asked if i wanted SEA & JFK Weather tile,

so im part way there, just give me a little while to sort it.

SORTED:

download the following .webtile file
http://1drv.ms/1U2QcAi

put in your onedrive, or email the file to yourself.

open onedrive on your device that is paired to the band and download the file, this opens ms health and installs.
