Why do some guest threads have different authors? WPCentral Q/Windows Central Q

I always wondered what makes some guest threads in Ask a Question have the author as WPCentral Question and others have it as Windows Central question. Why is this?

Hi Libra, when the site was called WP Central any questions came from WPCentral Question. When the site's name was changes to Windows Central, the questions now come through Windows Central. Hope this helps!

It helps, thank you. I do see some recent questions asked by WPCentral Q, though.

I think this is because the original questions were asked before the rename and there are some questions being asked in an older thread.

It may be affected by App?

Maybe some generics like Tapatalk or whatnot are not updated on device to reflect the forum name change?
