Tried everything told here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...f-i-cannot-download-or-update-apps-from-store
(Nothing worked and couldn't find any other solution anywhere)

Still cannot update the Movies & TV app and cannot open it because of that since a week! (L735 on 14939.321 [had a hard reset without back up on .189. So the system is pretty clean and I have no SD card]). By the way, all the other apps and games are updating and installing. Also I have no problem other than this one.

I don't have time for a hard reset. Maybe downloading updated Movies & TV app's appx to install it manually works... Because store downloads the app normally, but error is given when it's finishing the installation. Well, anyone have that file? Or other solution than a hard reset?

Thanks from now (:

Do the error gives a code as well? if yes please mention the code. It should be in the format of 0x00000 .

If you have a store app update pending do that first, then perform a soft reset and then try again .

Nah, says just "0x80070019" No updates pending, everything is updated completely... Except Movies & TV.
I have researched for that code, it's about storage. Like those SD card problems but I don't even have one. Everything is on the phone storage I mean

i will follow up with you if i find something helpful or useful to share with your regarding your problem as of now i feel a hard reset is necessary to fix this.

Thank you. As I said, I couldn't find any other solution than a hard reset, which is not possible for me for a few months. Sending feedback is hopeless. Probably installing appx manually will fix it, or removing the app and downloading again... Of course second one sounds impossible. However even if I find the appx file; maybe it won't install either

most of the websites in windows phone 8.1 era , sharing Appx installers are now dead. Either they are taken down by Microsoft or are abandoned.

@Mdtm That's really annoying!

Today non-insider Movies & TV app got an update but I still have the same error to update it, ridiculous. What the...
