1020 8.1 GDR1 slow Cortana to blame?

Had general slowness, apps not loading including camera.
Turned off Cortana and back to fast and snappy. Turned her back on slow, lags and problems.
Turned her off deleted all cloud data for her, all local data and then turned her back on.
So far still fast and snappy, so maybe having USA data on the UK version created the problems?
Only time will tell.

I wiped the phone back to 8, updated to 8.1, installed DP, updated, update 1, all wonderful again, fast snappy working!
