In the Philippines, diagnosis may take 2 weeks and repair can take 2 months, at least.

Nokia used to operate several exclusive care centers but all these were closed down, except for a multi-brand service center that now attends to the lumia repairs. Do you have similar experience in your area?

Re: Care Centers After Microsoft Bought Lumia

Sure, it's just same here in Jakarta, a few years ago there were so many Nokia Care Center in Jakarta, and now? You can literally count them with your finger, it's just two of em left, and it's just small store!

Most of them either closed down or no longer serve Nokia/MS products

It's also unclear whether still operating NCC will carry Nokia name or becoming Microsoft Store

So if we want repair our phone, either we go to NCC or multi-brand stores which is sometimes unreliable

When the display of my 1520 has gone nuts (zooming in and out, when using the camera, like crazy; phantom scrolls and taps), there are no more NCCs, but only a service center that is authorized to do repairs. They replaced the entire display assembly, but not after I insisted that 2 weeks diagnosis and 2 months turn-over time is not acceptable.
