1809 still not available ? MSI Mobo owner

Hello,

Last month, i tried to manually install 1809 (wanted to see DXR benefits by myself) and it went south... i had to start from scratch and re-install windows.

Now that i am back up to 1803, the update tab in windows still won't suggest me to update to 1809 automatically.

I have a MSI motherboard (z370 Pro Carbon). I mention this because i read before that 1809 had an incompatibility with those.

Anybody has an update on this?

Your experience WOULD seem to bare this out!

Given there is no actual dedicated QA team (anymore) thus the compatibility issues with many chipsets cannot be tested in house, I would say many are in for a long wait as the last thing they want is another PR debacle.

Can you not manually update to 1809 using the media creation tool?

Did you get any proper solution?

I don't have the hardware to test this, sadly. But I just don't see why the media creation tool wouldn't work?
