2 hours of my life wasted :(

I sat there from work cheekily "moderating" and cleaned all unanswered thread just 3 minutes back.

However, website did something funny and even the "trending threads" are now under "new threads"

Is new threads and unanswered thread a different thing now that I've missed?

When the unanswered threads are cleared, it switches to new threads. Once an unanswered thread comes up, it goes back to that. I guess someone didn't like the page having that blank part. Though the mods and ambassadors liked seeing it empty.

yes that is normal. It was decided a while back that we don't want to have a blank space so now it goes to recent posts. Great job on getting the unanswered posts answer.
