2 months into my nokia 810 / win phone 8

..just received a tweet from @tmobilehelp...they said that all software updates have to be tested before release, then linked an article about how T-Mobile is the leader of updates...FOR ANDROID PHONES! These people are clueless!
(I wish I could link the tweet, but the app won't let you upload anything 😠)

I'm hoping they'll just launch the fix when the next major update goes into effect. I'm still waiting on the screen auto brightness fix.

All that they keep saying is that they are working with Microsoft on a fix, then linked an article about shrinking storage FROM MAY 2012! If T-Mobile wonders why they are the 4th largest company, here's why! Nokia, Microsoft, and T-Mobile all know that this is a known issue, but as long as no one says anything and just puts up with it, nothing will ever change.

It seems more likely that AT&T gets the updates first because they paid Nokia for exclusive rights to the 920 and, from what it seems like, priority access to all updates (since the WP8 launch, they've been first with all updates for WP8... but before that, they were usually dead last with updates). For all we know, Nokia sent AT&T the storage fix update weeks ago, and of course it just came out.

With the 810 though, we can all only hope that Nokia's update for the 820 - whenever that comes - will hit the 810 at the same time :/ Completely understand if you return the 810 because of this - the end of the article about the 920 updates said (IIRC) that the update would also be coming to Lumia 920 on other networks and all other Lumias in the coming weeks... but we have no idea how long "the coming weeks is". The storage issue is a big one.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one with the storage issue problem. I just came back from T-Mobile, went back to my HD7 and HD2...I would suggest that people use Twitter and blow up @nokiacare, @winphonesupport, and @tmobilehelp....they all seem to think that I'm the only person with this problem.
