1. My battery is horrible. I had it fully charged, restarted it and it went to 99%. At 8 o'clock I went to the school until 1PM and my battery dropped to 93% (and it was off, 0 apps were running). Should I return my 8X or wait for the Battery Update and see if it gets any better?

2. FB app doesn't let me check-in nor my Me tile does. Can someone what track my location services must I allow?

Other than these, the phone is working perfectly. I have no problem with the dirt and it looks like the back is almost finger ampret-free (you can clean them with a wet cloth).

Not sure why you consider the battery that bad if it went down 6% in 5 hours. That means around 30% discharge / day. No apps were running but did you setup Microsoft / Google / any account sync? If so, it was surely doing things on the background. Believe me, your battery is totally fine.

Regarding facebook checkins I don't know what you meant. I tried it on mine a few times and worked fine :-(
