Most of the pictures I see people sharing on Instagram are self-mirror pics. I don't see what the big fuss about is, maybe it's a young person thing?
 
LOL, Following someone on instagram then complaining about their pics. *DERP* Just unfollow them.

Been using a WP device almost since launch day, I've had 3 total. Go try and find a valid statement to make.
 
WP is still basically a recycle bin for apps. Everything that is no longer popular and not being used on major scale is being developed for WP. When they said that they have one more app that needs a separate slide, I thought it was Instagram and was getting excited not because I like it, but because Instagram will be a sales boost for WP and would push other devs of other popular apps to develop for WP.
 
What kid with an Instagram account is going to buy a windows phone 8 device. Sometimes you have to understand the basics of how people think. Every feature they introduced with WP8 was awesome, but the me phone forgot the biggest look at me social network that's most popular right now. Yes they want a kings ransom and they want Microsoft to write it themselves but if you tell me the one feature they need more than any other, its the feature that your entire target base of future buyers says they refuse to go without. You can give a kid all the toys he can imagine for Christmas and he'll still be sad if you don't give him the one he wants. Give them what they want Microsoft, or watch windows phone die
 
They have the cool features, they have the best screens and they have the best camera, but left out the camera network. And no Facebook doesn't count because Facebook is for grandma now and instagram is for young people that wear as few cloths as possible and spend money trying to become internet and local celebrities! That would be your target audience for the next 10 years

While I would never use Instagram either it is the main app I keep hearing about when people ask me about my WP and if it is available or will be available. WP has to stop getting all the apps once they start declining in popularity. Hopefully Windows 8 will help bring some of these apps to WP8.

So its Twitter with pictures? People's daily lives posted a picture at a time? I am eating a hamburger at McD's. See....

My FB feed has pretty much only pictures in it. Not many people just posting text.
 
Or look, A heard of elephants. Here's a photo of the queen of England. Check out these ice caps. If you limit your audience to superficial dumb asses, well. But If you follow the dumb *** and other people from around the WORLD, you can get some damn nice photos.

Same with any social service. Its all about the people you follow. Follow the idiots on FB that post a stupid comment every 5 seconds, or machine gun 15 posts in 15 minutes and it sucks. My group of people do not suck. They post quality things. Same with Twitter, follow the wrong people and you get drivel. Same with instagram, follow quality people and you get quality posts. Still don't see how its better or worse than any other service. Your example of elephants, queen, ice caps, is just picking the right people to follow. So the service is no better than any other. I bet if you found people on FB that had the same content quality as your instagram connections you would be just as happy. I mean my FB app on my phone has none of the other crap that the guy in the video was talking about. Its just my FB wall feed.

Viber we have in nokia collections, but not on all devices i believe.

Those that hate on instagram, why does it matter to you? Would i use it, no i dont care, but millions do so it should be in this platform. Period
