5 apps you would really like to see on WP8.

REALLY happy to see that Instagram is no longer on every single reply here. 6tag and Instance FTW!!

Ingress, maps, hangout, additional keyboards, an easy flac reader

A version of mapmyride that actually works
A birdwatching app that interacts with bird
A flashcard client for ankiweb
An app that can control your model trains through JMRI
A better app that syncs with Toodledo

It is the lack of more specialized apps that kills the windows phone app store, not a lack of the common ones. You can find an app for an iPhone that does just about anything you can think of.

1- Candy Crush Saga
2- Memrise
3- Vonage
4- Instagram "just the name of the app .. to be side-by side with android and iOS "
5- Wolfram Alpha

1. Any decent web browser (won't happen on WP8, but maybe 8.5 or 9 if Microsoft loosens its policies)
2. Any decent music playback app (see above)
3. Any decent video playback app (see above)
4. Any decent podcasting app (see above)
5. Any decent strategy/board/card game

1) Triposo
2) TripAdvisor (not the joke available now, without b&b, hostels, bakeries, groceries and so on)
3) TweetCaster (the best Tweeter app for Android)
4) Programs such as Lux in Arcana (search for it on play store), and
5) Great videogames such as Ascent of Kings, Pen and Paper, Machine Knight, Symphony of Eternity and other great MRPG (Mobile Role Play Game)
6) a serious music player that can read lossless files (flac, ape, wv and so on) from SD card.

Songify, or some sort of auto tune app.

Sky Go.

Snapchat.

After that I don't know. Some more Xbox branded games would be nice.
