5mp or 34mp? which is better if i edit pictures in Lightroom?

5mp or 34mp? which is better if i edit pictures in Lightroom?

i am wondering if its worth saving the larger file.

i love editing in the phone itself but sometimes i want to use the filters from vsco in lightroom.

If you saved image as RAW then 41MP is your only option. So I assume you're talking about editting JPEG file.

Since pureview algorithm allow 41MP to become 5MP with better quality, then unless you want to highly crop to little details in images, I don't see anymore reason to edit 41MP image

if shooting in RAW lightroom,
but jpegs of 34mp also turn out good to be edited,
you can check out the jpegs i edited in light room, have them on
