635 seems like a real nice phone for the $$

Went to a Microsoft store today and they had a few 635s on display. Was surprised how nice it was. The build quality seemed very good and the display was great. I was surprised at the variety of cases and colored shells for the phone already. This could do real well for Microsoft.

Dby..what phone are you using now? For those using the Lumia 52X phones I am not sure it is worth it. For a first WP I think the 635 is now the better choice.

I have a Lumia 822, which I know is a better phone for the most part with the exception of the quad core in the 635. However, I rarely use the front cam, I really dont take many important pics with the phone to need a flash and I don't play many games. The 635 would be fine for me. I am just tired of paying hundreds of dollars for a phone and being stuck in a contract.

I will add, my daughter uses the 521, the 635s display alone is worth the upgrade.

Might get it as a sport/active alternative for my 925. The option for expandable storage would be great for more music on the go.
