Not unless its available in the firmware to begin with.

No you won't. Wi-Fi calling is only supported on T-Mobile ROMs. If T-Mobile decides to launch the 640 XL and the ROM is cross flashable to the unlocked XL then yes it might work. Wait why the trouble if T-Mobile is already releasing the phone?

No word on a 640xl headed to t-mobile. Rogers in Canada has well.

640 branded to t-mobile and metropcs yes.

I pre-ordered as well. There is no date on the site now. Microsoft store said it was available from 16th April, but Amazon still have no date. So just dunno. I wonder if you have heard anything more about your pre-order or a date?

the 3G dual sim version already released in my country (Saudi) for exactly 200$ (750 Riyals , or 185 Euros)

I think it's about the cheapest price you can find the 640XL worldwide , I will wait for the prices in other country and then I might start re-selling them in ebay (if the shipping + device is cheaper than other countries )

It seems that Carphone Warehouse (UK) isn't stocking the 640 XL. For UK people the only current options are ordering from MS, Expansys or from Amazon Germany. Which is fine. Except that for a phone this size I'd really want to try it out first. Oh well

Edit: had confirmation from their Twitter today saying that they have no news regarding the XL in the UK at all. I really want this phone, but it looks like I will have to resort to buying blind from Expansys or direct from MS at a higher price.
