Not sure about your currency though. So I'm just gonna say what's bang for the buck.
IF you want a medium level that are the latest choose the two- 730/830
If you want a camera focused phone choose the L1020 since its a flagship phone it still beats both the 730 and 830 in terms of performance. I have myself the 1020, my top complaint is the huge camera bump, its sometimes awkward to use in public and its not as fast shooter as any smartphone I know. And another is it doesn't have removable battery and card slot(not sure about the two though). All I can say about my Lumia 1020 is its fun to use its more like a toy dslr with the power of point and shoot camera, you'll gonna hate it or love it.

They all are, it now depends on what you value, and whether those are worth the price differences between the phones.

Best to worst camera: 1020, 830, 730 (although the 730's isn't *bad*)
Performance of the 830 and 730 are the same I think, the 1020 isn't too different.
830 and 730 have removable batteries, both larger than the 1020's in capacity.
830 has Qi wireless charging, the 1020 has the option via add-on, the 735 has Qi, but I don't know for sure if the 730 has it.

1020 has the smallest display, then the 730, then the 830. (4.5" AMOLED, 4.7" AMOLED, 5" IPS LCD respectively)
1020 and 830 have Glance.
730 has onscreen/virtual buttons and no dedicated camera key, unlike the 830 and 1020.
730 has the best FFC, can't say about the 1020 or 830.

1020: 32 GB storage, no microSD card slot (64 GB models exist, but are rare)
830: 16 GB + microSD
730: 8 GB + microSD

There's more, I'm just rattling things off the top of my head.

In terms of performance, there's also not that much of a difference between the three to call one superior, though the 1020 does have 2 GB of ram while the 730 and 830 have just 1 GB of ram. Although, with Windows Phone, you'll be able to do everything with 1 GB+ of ram, so it isn't much of a bonus to have more.

Hope all this information helps, and good luck with your choice, it'll be a good phone either way.

I don't think Nokia has any good options in the medium budget range. I cant understand why 830 and 730 have same processors and such gap in price. I heard a lot good things about htc desire 820 just the os is stopping me from buying it :(

I got yesterday an 830 and I'm suuuuuper satisfied. The screen looks great, it has a flagship feeling to it, feels very light and well built, it's very thin, and the screen feels like it is the perfect size. Big, but not too huge. Takes great pictures too. I can strongly recommend it.

Bhaaai 1020 le le, tabaaahi camera hai....... Gaaand faaaad picture quality hai camera ki.. Meri DP jo hai, 1020 k camera se li hui hai.. Bs battery prob hai thoda baaki ek no. Hai. Unique, stylish , comfortable.. Single hand use ke liye best hai. Gaming experience bhi masst hai.. 32 GB internal hai, sufficient hai itna. Ho with the 1020 , online lena flipkart se 23,000 me mil jaayega. :)

I think ill move to htc desire 820 bro.. I am not much of a camera guy :/ it still runs a age old processor. Games are tough to find in wp :p I will definitely miss Nokia and windows phone :( but there's nothing good in 20 - 30k INR price segment :|

This is my first post in the forum. I am user of Lumia 620 from past 2 years which is with 512mb ram but it never lagged that is the beauty of optimisation of windows OS. I am in a same boat of going for Lumia 830 very soon after reading lot many reviews on the web. Think twice before going for HTC 820 as few of my friends reported its not that good, if you want HTC then go for M8 eye, very good phone.

I my self still thinking on Lumia 830 or 930. 930 has better configuration with 2gb ram and better processor, but no sd card slot and battery is not removable.

I have 1020 and 830... 1020 has camera, for everything else I prefer 830. So better to buy 830. 830 has more premium feel than any other lumia windows phone in the market incluidng 1520.

830 by far the best device, but so many people have problems with it, that I would suggest taking that into account when buying. Make sure you can easily exchange the device in case you get a bad one.
